Use case · Teams

Decide in branches, not meetings.

The worst team decisions happen in threads where the loudest argument wins by exhaustion. Give each option its own branch and its own advocate, then let the Merge Board put the disagreement on the table with reasons attached.

The shape of the problem

Every option gets a fair run. Then the field gets judged.

01 / SCENARIO

Team decisions in branches

Frame the decision at the anchor, then each teammate takes one option into their own branch as an editor: the build case, the buy case, the wait case. Nobody's argument contaminates anybody else's. When the branches are done, the Merge Board's Decision mode tables pros and cons per option and drafts a recommendation the room can argue with.

  • One option per branch, one advocate per option
  • Editors message and branch; viewers read
  • Decision mode recommends; the team still decides
02 / SCENARIO

Working together without collisions

Collaboration in GPTree is asynchronous by design: each collaborator works from their own account with their own credits, and there is no real-time co-editing to trample a teammate mid-thought. Share a conversation or a project, assign viewer or editor, and let the tree keep the record of who argued what.

  • Per-conversation and per-project collaborator roles
  • Each collaborator on their own account and credits
  • No real-time co-editing, by design; the tree is the record
The features doing the work

What this workflow leans on.

  • Collaboration roles: viewer and editor per conversation or project
  • Team workspaces: shared spaces with RBAC on the Team plan
  • Branch isolation: options argued cleanly, no bleed
  • Merge Board Decision mode: pros, cons, and a recommendation
  • Decisions on the record: the tree is the minutes
  • Unlimited members: on the Team plan at per-user pricing

Collaboration is a Pro and Team feature; workspaces and RBAC are Team. See pricing for the full split.
