# Image Studio: add real text and layers to your images

Open Image Studio on a generated picture to type editable, correctly spelled text onto it, add image layers, and save each version as its own branch.

Text you add in Image Studio is real type, not letters painted by the model, so it is spelled right and you can change it later without generating the picture again. Double-click text on the canvas to edit it in place, and drag it where you want it.

Saving creates a new branch with your layers on the picture. Layer-only saves are instant and use no image credits, so trying five headlines on one image costs one image.
