# Connect your own AI assistant to your documents

The assistant you already use can now connect to GPTree to search your documents, quote them exactly, and say plainly when it cannot answer.

Create a connection from Account, on the Developer tab, and choose only the abilities your assistant needs. Paste the credential into your assistant's settings and it can search your GPTree documents and open the exact passage behind every claim.
