# Bring your ChatGPT history, and keep it current

Import your ChatGPT export and it arrives sorted into folders with its original dates, and importing a newer export later adds only what is new.

You do not have to start over. Upload your ChatGPT export and GPTree proposes a folder for each group of related conversations. Change any part of the plan before anything is created.

Import again whenever you like. GPTree matches what it already has, adds only the new messages and conversations, and never makes a second copy. If an import is not what you wanted, Undo this import removes it.

A Claude export works on the same page too. Importing is free on every plan.
