# A default persona for each project

Pick a default persona in a project's settings, and every new conversation in that project starts with it, so your client work and your side project each get the right voice.

Open a project's settings and choose a Default persona. New conversations in that project start with it, alongside the project's default model and standing instructions.

You can still switch persona for any single message, and conversations outside the project are not affected.
